The Mercedes-Benz E-Class comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that offers 255 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. You also have your choice of the following engine options:
- Mild-hybrid 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder: 429 horsepower and 384 lb.-ft. of torque
- 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8: 603 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft. of torque
All engines are paired with a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission. While rear-wheel drive is standard, you do have the option of going with all-wheel drive.
In addition to exceptional acceleration (the V8 engine can go from zero to 60 mph in under 3.5 seconds), the Mercedes-Benz E-Class handles beautifully. It also provides a silky-smooth ride regardless of how rough the roads may be.
Tech Features
Every Mercedes-Benz E-Class comes with a user-friendly MBUX infotainment system that can be controlled in a number of ways. There’s a 12.3-touchscreen, a touch pad controller, and physical buttons for you to use, and it can also be accessed using voice commands.
