Q: How old are CPO models?
A: In order to be called "certified pre-owned," our vehicles can’t be more than six years old. Plus, even if they are younger, they will be disqualified if they have more than 75,000 miles.
Q: Are CPO models inspected before they're sold?
A: Our CPO models are thoroughly evaluated to make sure they’re in excellent condition. They also need to pass a rigorous 165+ inspection, which evaluates the quality of the engine, brakes, electrical system, and all other key components. These inspections are conducted by our certified Mercedes-Benz technicians who know these vehicles inside and out.
Q: Do CPO models come with warranties?
A: Every new Mercedes-Benz vehicle comes with a four-year/50,000-mile. If this is still applicable to your CPO vehicle, you will also get this coverage.
Plus, when this coverage ends, a one-year/unlimited-mileage warranty begins. On top of that, you will also be able to extend that warranty for an additional two years.
Q: What other kinds of coverage do I get?
A: Due to their young age, lack of mileage, and inspection certification, you can count on the quality of a CPO car. However, we understand that things happen, which is why our models also come with 24-hour emergency roadside assistance for the duration of your warranty. If you run out of gas, have a flat tire, or need a tow, you can get help.
Every CPO model also comes with a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report and a seven-day/500-mile exchange privilege, which lets you select another vehicle if you’re unhappy with your first choice.
